We had a few hours off today to have a browse round the show at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, then we went to Lytham and had lunch at Hastings which was very nice. Will make a big effort to go back very soon.

It is that time again when the odd jobs clipboard comes out, painting & decorating high on the list. We like to keep the place up to scratch rather than do it when it shows it needs doing.

Now hopefully the weather is improving, we had better go to Blackpool Zoo to have a look at O'Grady the baby giraffe that Langtrys has adopted.

After a night out and a lie in we awoke to a distinct lack of traffic noise and on drawing the curtains all was revealed, snow has been and still was falling, oh joy of joy.
