Putting my fear of heights aside it was time to climb aboard the Tower Eye ride to the dizzy heights of about 500 feet. Well it was fine, don't know what all the fuss was about, the view from the top was amazing, clear glass floor so you could see straight down to the promenade below or for miles out across the Irish sea. Then as darkness approached the Illuminations were switched on a truly remarkable view. All this plus the new 4D cinema a great attraction well done again, Merlin.
