We all enjoyed a Christmas break in the Algarve in a small town by the name of Albuferia, now not having had a holiday over the Christmas period before we did wonder if it would suit us. The answer to that is no, the place was lovely, weather reasonable, food was fine but when your away from home and with all the snow and extreme temperatures around you wonder if you shouldn't be at home. Extremely grateful that our neighbors kept an eye on the place and after locating burst pipe in the shed and fixing it preventing more damage, it didn't seem fair to be away.
