The property is great as a result of the hard work all-round, so lets hope the show gets the phones ringing and justifiably puts it on the map.

mike welby on 7/15/2009 5:11 PM just watched the hotel inspector programme. have to say the refurb looks great. however, bit disappointed that you would think the program would take full credit for it. I think without their help it could have been alot worse. myself and my partner will hopefully stay here in October when we go to see Bucks Fizz.

Your passion came across and I think anyone who watched the show will know whos ideas they were so I wouldn't worry about that!!! I think having Alex was probably good in some ways and any ideas get you thinking and it's good to have another perspective on things. All the best for the future and we have definitly said we will come and stay sometime alhough Blackpool itself is not somewhere my husband is fond of!!!

Just like to say I have just watched the hotel inspector and i think the improvement to the hotel is amazing. I think i will have to arrange a trip to blackpool just for a weekend break and to get use of the tv in the bathroom and the champagine breakfast.

Belinda Stansfield on 7/16/2009 5:55 AM Just wanted to say my partner and I really enjoy watching the Hotel Instpector and especially enjoyed watching the transformation you have achieved - no one could say you've got bad taste now! We live in Southport and often go to Blackpool and are always on the look out for a "special" hotel - I think we will be booking with you before long - if we can get in that is as I am sure you will be a very popular and successful destination. I own a bathroom showroom in Southport and have to say the bathrooms look spectacular. I think it is a great ideal to use a tile vision (or maybe another make) tv and it certainly would be an added attraction for us. Good luck for the future and hope to see you soon.

By the way, are you any where near Funny Girls as we want to see the show and would like a hotel fairly nearby when we eventually book it - thanks.

I watched the hotel inspector last night and I'm very impressed with the complete transformation. It reminded me of a similar place I stayed at in Surrey last year, 5 Star every step of the way.

is the kind of decor you supply,a great breakfast experience and a SPA BATH it can be very difficult
to find all three. Good choice and I wish you every success. Hope to maybe make it down for a stay some time.

Certainly very impressive - we usually look around for a really cheap night's stay when we go for short weekend breaks but we just have to come and stay with you one weekend to see the hotel for ourselves - well done, great job!

I saw the programme and thought you both came across well. At first you seemed a bit out of your depth but found your feet as the programme progressed. However, your comments that you weren't impressed with the bedroom design was a bit daft when you more-or-less went with the original design.
The B&B looks great and I hope your gamble pays off?

Alex is a top Hotelier and knows what she is talking about. I think the hotel looks great and you have done yourselves proud. However I don´t think the comments on your blog about taking the credit are really justified. In my opinion when the camera showed the finished room it was pretty much carbon copy of Alex´s design!! Anyway good luck.
